The Amity Journal : Chief Fashion Editor Alfie: “Care Is Never Just a Gesture.”

" The Amity Journal "

“The Amity Journal” captures the everyday moments shared between pet lovers and their companions, through sharing and connection, revealing the most genuine form of this bond as it naturally unfolds.

For this issue, we invite Alfie Hsu, a Chief Fashion Editor at Marie Claire Taiwan. With over a decade of experience in fashion editing, styling, and image direction, Alfie has also received professional recognition as a stylist and editor from Models.com. He continues to explore new possibilities within the fashion industry, constantly challenging conventional perspectives through his work.
In this issue, we follow Alfie’s point of view as he opens the door to his everyday life with his beloved companion, capturing moments of quiet connection and shared living.

" Captivated by designs that aren't in a hurry to be found. "

They exist within everyday life, light, and time used repeatedly, and treated with quiet care.
In unhurried weekend moments, natural light slowly settles by the window. A cat curls up, then rises ; a person reads, pauses, and shares the same stretch of time. There are no instructions, no performances only a sincere and intimate moment of life as it is.

The lines of the Tiese Chair are soft and restrained. The curved layers of bamboo carry the warmth of touch, while the leather cushion gradually bears the marks of use over time.
It does not seek to become the focal point of a space, yet with every moment of sitting down, and every time a pet quietly jumps up,it gently holds the weight of companionship without asking to be noticed.

Alfie : “To me, this is more than just a chair. it’s a place that allows people and pets to share quiet moments together. When design is gently embraced by life, that warmth stays with you. It also reveals what PAMITIE means by shared living between humans and pets: not a form, but an emotional choice.”
